Overview

The Ninth (9) Science, Technology and Innovation Conference and Exhibition (STICE) on 2-4 December 2024 at the Julius Nyerere International Conference Hall (JNICC), Dar es Salaam. The STICE conference will be held during the Science Week that will begin with the STI Marathon (Stithon) event on November 30, 2024 in Dar es Salaam. Other introductory events are women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (women in STEM) on 02 December 2024 and youth innovation (youth innovation) on 03 December 2024.

Introduction

The Annual National Science, Technology and Innovation (STI)
Conference and Exhibition (STICE) is a platform of STI community organized by the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) in partnership with stakeholders in the STI ecosystem from within and outside Tanzania

Overview

The STICE events serve as a key Commission strategy for disseminating STI products and knowledge. The upcoming 9th event will unite scientists, innovators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to discuss and showcase research and innovation results. 

STI Marathon

BE HEALTHY

Runners will boost aerobic fitness and cardiovascular endurance, enhancing health, energy levels, and reducing the risk of non-communicable diseases.

Networking

Participants can network with students, professionals, and innovators, fostering new relationships and potential collaborations.

BE STRONG

Runners can build strength through consistent training, proper nutrition, strength exercises, adequate rest, and maintaining a positive mindset.

Recognition

Runners have the chance to compete for prizes and medals, celebrating their achievements and contributions to the event's success.
